At the ‘Silver Mustang Casino’, Las Vegas, the dazed Agent Cooper wins thirty mega-jackpots on the slot machines. The very concerned casino manager, Duncan Todd, hands him a bag stuffed with money, and sends him away in a limousine to Dougie Jones’ house. Dougie's wife, Janey-E, is furious at her ‘husband’s three-day absence, until she sees the huge bag of cash. At the FBI headquarters in Philadelphia, Deputy Director Gordon Cole meets with Chief of Staff Denise Bryson to inform her of Agent Cooper’s apparent return. In the Twin Peaks Sheriff's Department, Lucy is surprised by the return of Harry’s brother, Sheriff Frank Truman. After the Sheriff's team review the Log Lady’s message, Deputy Bobby Briggs recalls that Cooper was the last person to see his father, Major Briggs, before his death. Lucy and Andy’s wayward son, ‘Wally Brando’, visits the Sheriff's office to pay his respects to his ill godfather, Harry Truman. Mike warns Cooper about taking on the life of the manufactured doppelgänger, Dougie. The confused Cooper takes breakfast with Janey-E and her son, Sonny Jim. In Buckhorn, South Dakota, Detective Dave Madeley learns that data on the John Doe’s fingerprints has been blocked by the military. Deputy Director Gordon Cole arrives in South Dakota with Agents Albert Rosenfield and Tammy Preston. At the prison, they examine ‘Agent Cooper’s possessions - cocaine, a machine gun and a severed dog’s leg - and then meet with Mr C. Gordon and Albert are suspicious of his story about working undercover with Agent Jeffries, and they declare it a ‘Blue Rose’ case…
